Short answer
Splitopia is free, with no subscription and no fees. Each person can create up to 5 new bills a day, scanned or entered manually. Joining friends’ bills and claiming items isn’t limited.

If you reach the daily limit, Splitopia tells you and you can create new bills again the next day. Bills you’ve already shared keep working as usual.
Supporting Splitopia (optional)
If you’d like to, you can send a small tip in Telegram Stars from inside the app. Tips help cover server and AI costs. They’re entirely optional and don’t unlock anything.
Good to know
- Everyone needs a Telegram account. There’s no separate app or Splitopia sign-up.
- Splitopia doesn’t move money. It shows who owes what; friends pay the usual way and the creator marks them as paid.
- No currency conversion. Each bill has one currency, chosen by whoever creates it.

Do my friends pay anything to join?
No. Opening a shared bill and claiming items is free and unlimited.
Does joining a friend’s bill count toward my daily limit?
No. Only creating new bills counts, up to 5 a day, whether scanned or entered manually.
What happens when I reach the limit?
Splitopia tells you, and you can create new bills again the next day. Existing bills keep working.
